The Bismarck was next to the Tirpitz the largest battleship in World War II. The 251m long ship was put into service on August 24, 1940. After completing the training trips, she took part in the Rhine exercise company.
On May 24th, 1941 she sank the British battle cruiser HMS Hood in a sea battle off Greenland.
Then the Bismarck, damaged at the bow, set course for a French port. During the pursuit by British ships and aircraft, the ship was shot down on May 27, 1941 and sank in the Atlantic.
Finely structured components with rivets and recessed sheet metal joints authentically reproduce this imposing battleship. Other features of the kit include the movable turrets, with individual movable tubes.
