Bike Tri Handlebar Buying Guide

Bike Tri Handlebar Buying Guide

Tribars are predominantly used on road bikes and time trial bike so the rider can gain a more aerodynamic position.

They clamp onto the standard handle bar near the stem and have a bar for each arm reaching out over the front wheel. This allows the riders to get lower on the bike therefore having less wind resistance. The clamping point on the handlebar have elbow supports built into them so you can rest in that position with relative comfort. Tribars vary in price depending on material and adjustability. At the top end carbon tribars can be well over £1000 however quality alloy options start for as little as £50.
